Introduction
The assignment for course design for usability 2 (203CR) had assign
us to do a user evaluation on understanding of pervasive computing devices. This
assignment are been tested to checked the user understanding of the device.
Each student need to conduct an investigation to 30 users by giving them

By deliver the
same question to lots of respondents, it will give the researcher a clear view
on the customers’ behaviors and opinion. The result of the survey will provide
strong data to be analysis.

assignment will collect information and responses from the user regarding the
drink vending machine. The respondent will be given questionnaire that consists
of 19 questions. The questions will be evaluated on their understanding of the
button interface of drink vending machine. The questions will be given to the
random users that have experiences, using the vending machine.
According to
the 10 heuristics of Jakob Nielson that can relate on the drink vending machine.
The guideline that can relate which are visibility of system status, user
control and freedom and flexibility and efficiency of use. The goal experience
that can achieve from this evaluation is the user can give their response and
feedback on the vending machine without any help. The process of getting the
user responses at the public areas so that there will more users that can be
evaluate.
